The Gift of God – Judy Marshall

We live in a dual world: The visible and the invisible. The visible world is what our senses see, feel, smell, hear and touch. The invisible world is what we see by faith. It is belief without experiencing with our senses.

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, God is so pleased. At this point He gives us a gift from the spiritual world, from the invisible world, from the world of faith. This is where Gif lives and moves and has His being.

It is the Gift of God

Eph. 2:8 – For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the figt of God.

Rom. 6:23 – The wages of sin is death (Separated from God) by the figt of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

II Cor. 9:15 – Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift.

Yes, this gift of God is unspeakable, indescribable, unexplainable, unspeakable, precious and beyond telling.

The gift of God is like a present. When we receive Christ as our Savior, we all get this present from God.

Each individual opens it differently. Some people take the gift and put it on a shelf and never open it. It is if they forgot that it was given to them. Others take it and carefully over years they little by little open it. They treat it as if it is fragile and they use it tentatively. Still others are so excited that they rip it open to see what God has for them.

Inside this gift of God are the very things that He wants to give us. These things we would never have without Him. They include: Life, Joy, Peace, Light, Help, Strength, Protection, Presence, and love.

All wrapped in a package and the words that cause these to develop in our lives are the words that we say to God, “Lord I trust You.”
